Rental Information

All prospective tenants must initially apply in person to the Dicky Beach Real Estate office to preview any available rental property on our books. Please make an appointment with our Property Management team for any rental accommodation you want to apply for as the Property Manager must accompany any prospective tenants through the property. After viewing, if you would like to rent one of our available properties then you will be required to do the following:

  • Complete the DBRE Application Form;
  • Provide two valid rental references and two personal references;
  • Provide standard 100 points of ID (Driver's Licence, Birth Certificate etc);
  • Provide copies of previous rental accounts paid;
  • Provide copies of last two pay slips.

We will then make the necessary checks to ensure the potential tenant meets our strict tenancy criteria. Successful tenants will then be required to do the following:

  • Pay one weeks rent to secure the application;
  • Pay four weeks bond money (which is returnable on exiting the property if the property condition report is satisfactory);
  • Complete a Property Condition Report check;
  • Pay one weeks rent in advance (All tenants are required to keep their rent one week in advance at all times).

Property inspections are conducted every 13 weeks during the term of tenancy.

All repairs and maintenance problems must be reported to Dicky Beach Real Estate Property Management. We will organise for a trade's person to attend to the issue as quickly as possible.
